Files Explained

i never really realized but just thought that there may be a few people out there who have no idea of what the files other than the obvious are so here's the breakdown for anyone worried and wondering wtf they are.. you can trust me i'm a legit dude. :)

(.jpg) obvious file.. image.
(.m3u) obvious file.. playlist.
(.nfo) maybe not so obvious for some. this is a "ASCII text file" simply containing information about the release and you can use notepad to view it but to get the full effect you'll need a .nfo reader there's quite a few but the one i use is called j.a.n.e. (just another nasty editor) you can get it free here it's the developers official website.
(.sfv) maybe not so obvious for some. this is a "simple file verification" file you'll need software to utilze this and will verify the integrity of files in the release. again.. there's quite a few programs for this as well also free.. the one i use is called QuickSFV you can get it here and again also the developers official website.
(.mp3)  obvious file.. audio.

and a tip.. if you're using iTunes delete the playlist file (.m3u) i haven't used it in a few years but noticed when you loaded a release folder it added a duplicate of every song in the folder. so if you've noticed this as well this is the reason.
